Sigriswil is a hillside village above Lake Thun, with Aeschlen across the Gumischlucht. The suspension bridge makes that gap impossible to ignore: you look down into the gorge and out towards the lake and mountains.
The bridge crossing is paid. The path through the gorge is a different walk, with a descent and climb. If heights are not for you, the village still offers the lake view without a bridge ticket.
