Mürren sits high above Lauterbrunnen, with village streets and terraces facing across the valley to the mountains. The view is a good enough reason to come.
There are two approaches, via Grütschalp and Winteregg or by cableway from Stechelberg, which bring you to different ends of the village. Going on to the Schilthorn is a separate excursion. You can enjoy Mürren without buying a ticket all the way to the summit.
