Iseltwald sits in a small bay on Lake Brienz, with houses behind the waterfront and the Seeburg promontory beside it. The familiar pier photograph shows only a small part of the village. Come for a look along the public shore, then stay for lunch and the view across the lake.
Giessbach is farther along the shore, a separate walk or boat trip rather than a quick detour. Keep to public paths around the waterfront homes.
