The path into the St. Beatus Caves follows limestone formations and an underground stream. Allow about an hour inside, plus the uphill walk to the entrance. Outside, the entrance overlooks Lake Thun. It stays around 8-10°C inside and feels damp, with 297 steps on the route. Bring a warm layer and grippy shoes. The caves are not step-free, and weather can restrict access; use the current visitor information for opening.
