The Beatenberg tandem flight starts with a drive uphill from Interlaken and ends on the Höhematte lawn in town. In between, you get a view of both lakes from a paraglider, with a pilot doing the flying. Before takeoff, the pilot adjusts your harness and explains how to run down the slope together. The flight itself usually lasts 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the weather and package; the transfer and preparation take extra time.
