Start in the village beneath Staubbach Falls, then follow the valley floor towards Stechelberg. You can turn back when you have walked enough; the cliffs and waterfalls are the point of the day. Trümmelbach is a separate paid stop, with waterfalls inside the mountain. Wengen or Mürren make a good addition on a clear day if you would also like to see the valley from above, using the mountain transport.
What to look forward to
- Staubbach Falls above the village roofs
- A walk into the valley towards Stechelberg
- Trümmelbach inside the mountain, when open
Before you go
The Staubbach gallery and Trümmelbach access are seasonal. Check Trümmelbach’s minimum age before bringing young children; dogs cannot enter. Wear shoes with grip for wet steps and work out your journey back from the valley.
