At First, you can keep the day simple: ride the gondola from Grindelwald village, try the Cliff Walk beside the top station, then walk to Bachalpsee if the trail is open. The Flyer, Glider and downhill rides are there if you want to add them, but the walk and lake can be the whole outing. A useful detail if you arrive by train: the First gondola is reached from Grindelwald village station, not Grindelwald Terminal.
