Ballenberg brings old farmhouses and workshops from across Switzerland together on one large site near Brienz. You can go inside the buildings and watch craft demonstrations listed in the day’s programme.
Much of the visit is outdoors, with walks between the buildings. Wear comfortable shoes and bring something warm. Demonstrations change from day to day and the museum opens seasonally, so use its published programme to pick a date.
